I was born and raised in the Bay Area, in Oakland, California and I've been drawn to light, shadows, geometric shapes, and storytelling long before I was ever aware of it.

I studied Cinema at the Academy of Art University (back when it was still a college) in San Francisco, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Cinematography and Editing. For the longest time, I assumed motion pictures would always be my creative home. But somewhere along the way, I discovered that a single frame could tell a story just as powerfully as an entire film.

Now I carry my camera with me everywhere, every day. Some days I don't shoot at all. Other days, I walk through my door feeling like I just found a piece of fine art… for free!
